I am continuing to make progress on the Patchwork Prism quilt. The top is all stitched together – yayy! I am quite pleased with how the points matched up. I’ll admit that a few are a bit off, but I decided that this is such a busy quilt, it will hopefully go unnoticed. I have no clue as to what I am going to use for the back and the binding, but probably something subdued so it won’t compete with the front.

I have also pieced the blocks for the Flea Market Fancy quilt. The in-between blocks were going to be solid white, but now I am wondering if a square in the middle would look better?  What do you think?

This?

Or this?

These were leftover 2″ squares that I just stuck up on the board to see how it would look. The actual squares would be 3.5″, like the larger ones. They could be all the same, random prints, solids…oh the possibilities!!

And still hanging around is the granny squares quilt! I have narrowed down the choices for the back to three…

Along with the scrappy binding, I think any of them will be fine, but I am leaning towards the stripes.

On the back burner is still the Treasures & Tidbits quilt where I think it may remain forever!

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

I am sad to have to delete my polka-dotted background. For the second time in a month, ShabbyBlogs.com has had a problem which I don’t really understand, but if you try to view my blog you get a nasty warning about malware and viruses (viri?) due to the ShabbyBlogs content. The first time this happened, I figured it was a one-time thing and I reinstalled the background after the problem was fixed. But since it has happened a second time, I don’t want to use one of their backgrounds again.  This is a shame because they have so many cute blog styles and this probably isn’t even their fault.  Anyway, I added a polka dot image of my own, but it doesn’t look as good as a proper background. I don’t like the way it shows through and there is a gap between the header and the main body. I love polka dots and will search for another background I can use. Any suggestions?
